The group behind Bali’s Motel Mexicola and Bucket List in Sydney is opening another venture on the island this coming August. Located on the Golden Mile of Bali’s Seminyak Beach, Tropicola houses a beach club, restaurant, rooftop bar, and hotel all in one. Sprawling over 7,000 square metres, the beachfront development also enjoys fantastic panoramic views of the Indian Ocean for patrons to relax and celebrate the good things in life over good food and sizzling tipples.
For the Beach Club, Tropicola features three bars over multiple levels surrounding two pools and a wood-fire open kitchen helmed by Chef Steve Skelly, the man behind Mexicola, Da Maria, and Luigi’s Hot Pizza. The menus promises wood-fired grills, fresh seafood, grilled meats, and simply handled vegetables. Elsewhere, working once again with James Brown, Tropicola Beach Club’s décor is an amalgamation of a riot of colours.
Tropicola is also rolling out a rooftop bar and an event space along with a hotel in the following years. The 60-room hotel offers accessible luxury combined with the team’s years of excellence in hospitality with memories of travels around the globe. Drawing inspirations from Miami, Acapulco, Palm Springs, Tulum, and Playa Del Carmen, Tropicola is set to be the next summer destination on the Island of the Gods.
