Fairmont’s 1945 restaurant boasts a skilled head chef, Adhitia Julisiandi, who will be joining forces with Maxie Millian, the chef of one of Bali’s most illustrious contemporary Indonesian restaurants, known as Merah Putih. The duo plan to reinvigorate and incorporate their own personal touch to 1945’s conventional menus into a refined five-course dinner—a unique interpretation on fine dining drawing inspiration from Indonesia’s ascendant tastes and delightful ingredients. For one night only, guests are invited to take their taste buds on a culinary adventure at 1945 on November 22. The dinner is priced at Rp688,000++ per person or Rp888,000++ per person with wine pairing.
In conjunction with the event, Fairmont’s Chef Hans Christian of VIEW restaurant will also be partnering with one of Malaysia’s most renowned restaurants, Sitka, and its award-winning Head Chef Kim Leun Chen. The two-night event will be held on November 23 and 24, when the two chefs will showcase their original and innovative takes on contemporary Asian dishes. With the combination of fresh ingredients, a transcendentally explorative menu, and the four practised hands of the chefs, this dining event at Fairmont Jakarta is set to be one of the most sought-after culinary experiences of the month.
