The Café, Edogin, Orient8, and Table8 will have special lunch and dinner buffet, plus a separate set menu at Table8, on both days. Table8 also serves the festive yee sang salad to bring prosperity from February 8 to March 2, and the adorable koi-shaped nian gao cake to bring luck from February 2 to March 2. Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta welcomes the arrival of the Year of The Dog with an array of special festive offerings at Jia restaurant. For the Chinese New Year celebration, guests are invited to feast on traditional Chinese set menus crafted by Chinese Executive Chef Christopher Chai. Special dishes include Salmon Yee Sang, Eight-Treasure Pot, Suckling Pig and Deep-Fried King Prawn with Golden Pumpkin Sauce. The set menus are available until February 15.

Start your Chinese New Year’s Celebration at Grand Hyatt Jakarta on February 15. The celebration, which will be held inside its Grand Ballroom, will start with a giant Fatt Choi Lo Hei Yu Sheng and followed by an eight-course set menu created by visiting Chinese Master Chef Lee Wang of Grand Hyatt Shanghai. A fabulous lion dance performance by the four-time world champion lion dance troupe Kong Ha Hong will then wow the crowds. Le Méridien Jakarta is ushering in the Year of Dog with a sumptuous buffet dinner, “Flavours of China”, at La Brasserie Restaurant from February 1 to March 4.
