Grand Hyatt Jakarta
This lavish hotel is welcoming the Year of The Rooster on January 27 at Grand Café, where the culinary team has prepared a festive dinner brimming with traditional delicacies. The dinner buffet will also feature live performances by three times world champion lion dance troupe Kong Ha Hong who will amaze you with their acrobatic Barongsai show on New Year’s Eve, along with music by a melodious Chinese orchestra in our Grand Lobby.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Jakarta
Mandarin Oriental Jakarta is welcoming The Year of Rooster at its Li Feng restaurant. Treat your family and friends to an authentic Cantonese feast with abundant of signature menus, such as Deep Fried Chicken with Sesame, Seared Xi Sha Island Crayfish with Garlic Sauce, and Braised Baby Abalone with Sea Cucumber and Fat Choy, and of course Yu Sheng. Helmed by Chinese Chef Chang See Loy, the festive dinner will be held accompanied by traditional dragon and lion dance during the evening merriment.
Elsewhere, The Mandarin Cake Shop is also offering a variety of delectable Chinese New Year crafted by Chef Chang See Loy with signature delicacies such as X.O. Sauce and Dim Sum Chili Sauce, homemade cashew nut cookies and pineapple tarts, and the legendary lapis legit. The offer will start from January 9th to 29th.

Ring in the Chinese New Year with brunch at Jakarta Restaurant at The Dharmawangsa Jakarta with scrumptious selections of oriental and International dishes and an all-afternoon entertainment with Barongsai and live music. The Hermitage Jakarta is ushering Chinese New Year at all of their outlets with festive menus, such as chicken siomay, pork char siu, prawn siomay, for appetisers and is priced at Rp 88,000. Meanwhile, for the main course there are steamed grouper with light soya and ginger sauce and Sichuan style wok fried bee, priced at Rp 228,000. For yummy dessert dinners can indulge in mango chia pudding and cashew nuts, priced at Rp 88,000.
The 'Year of The Rooster' celebration will be available from January 23 to February 5. Elsewhere, the Lunar New Year's set menu is priced at Rp 488,000++ per pax. However, dinners are free to choose any of the menu as individual menu.
JW Marriott Jakarta
JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta is bringing many Chinese delicacies over this Lunar New Year at its hotel’s Pearl Chinese Restaurant, where classic dishes like homemade Nian Gao will be offered from January 8 to February 11 and is available in three different flavours traditional, coconut and traditional golden, with various size selection.
Meanwhile, family and friends are invited to celebrate together over good meals, especially prepared by Chinese Master Chef Ken Choy at Pearl Chinese Restaurant. The festive menus, which run on the same date, are divided into three set menus: wealth (Rp 788,000++ per person), prosperity (Rp 888,000++ per person) and fortuna (Rp 1,688,000++ per person). For Chinese New Year Day brunch, falls on January 28th, the chef has whipped up special Yum Cha along with the abalone soup, various dim sum selection, barbeque suckling pig and many more available at Rp 488,000++ per person.
Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta
This Chinese New Year, Hotel Indonesia Kempinski’s new executive Chinese Chef, Yao Tak Chuen, is inviting dinners to savour authentic dishes, such as yu sheng lo hei, peking duck, dim sum station, suckling pig and roasted pork belly, to name a few. Held at its Signature Restaurant, the festive dinner will also feature fortune tellers; lion dance and live Chinese harp performances.
The promotion is offered in buffet setting from January 21 to 26 at the restaurant and is priced at Rp 318,000 ++ for lunch and Rp 368,000 ++ for dinner. Meanwhile, the Chinese New Year’s Eve brunch and dinner on January 26 to 29 is priced at Rp 458,000 ++.
Pullman Jakarta Central Park
Pullman Jakarta Central Park is ushering the Year of the Rooster at its Pullman grand ballroom by featuring a tantalising set of nine signature dishes including the iconic Yu Sheng. The evening celebration will see the ballroom and foyer transformed into luxurious ‘Shanghai Night’ concept with a full themed decoration and festive ambience. Not only that guests are also guaranteed to get entertained by an array of entertainment highlights, such as traditional Chinese music, Chinese cosplay characters and Chinese Broadway dance.
The celebration will take place on January 21 at 6pm onwards and is priced at Rp 9,000,000++ for a table of 10 persons.
On January 28, Hotel Borobudur’s Teratai restaurant is ringing in the Chinese New Year with a set menu featuring Yu Shang, or salmon sashimi, and special traditional cakes called Nian Gao, also known as Chinese rice cakes, prepared especially by the culinary team for the festive occasion. It is believed that the rice cake symbolises good fortune and can increase patrons’ prosperity throughout the year. The hotel will honour Chinese New Year with a traditional lion dance, live music, acrobatic performances and artistic decorations.
The Yu Shang is priced at Rp 736,000 ++ (large) and the Nian Gao at Rp 138,000++ per piece.
Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta
Celebrate The Lunar New Year at Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta at its various outlets. Dinners can dine with the prosperous Yee Sang Salmon at Table8, which consists of Vegetables, Fresh Salmon with Plum Sauce, Peanuts, Sesame Seeds and imported ingredients from China. The Yee Sang can be enjoyed from January 25 to February 10.
Meanwhile, The Café, Table8, Orient8 and Edogin are all offering Chinese New Year buffet lunch and dinner package on January 27th and 28th. Dinners can also celebrate The Lunar New Year with delicious crafted chocolate items, homemade cookies and many of the season’s delights stylishly packaged in 12 variations.
Embracing the Year of Fire Rooster, Fairmont Jakarta has prepared a selection of delicious dining offers, from sumptous buffet to oriental-themed afternoon tea highlights. At Spectrum, the main all-day dining and buffet restaurant is offering Chinese New Year’s Day brunch and dinner, such as Yee Sang; peking duck, jelly fish and beef shank salad; szechuan pepper-marinated roast wagyu beef, among others. The Chinese New Year’s Day at Spectrum is priced at Rp 625,000++/ person for brunch and Rp 588,000++/ person for dinner. Elsewhere, the Chinese Lunar Afternoon Tea (available on January 27 to 31) is priced at 488,000++/ set.
The Laguna, Bali
The Laguna Bali is inviting patrons to usher in the Chinese New Year with an “Emperor Dinner” at its Banyubiru restaurant from January 21 to 27 at 6pm onwards, which will feature forgotten recipes and authentic royal delicacies from the ancient Chinese empire. Meanwhile, the hotel’s Arwana Restaurant is also celebrating Chinese New Year with an eight -course set menu on January 27 at 6pm onwards.
The Chinese New Year Emperor Dinner Feast at Banyubiru is priced at Rp 688,888 net, while the eight-course set menu at Arwana restaurant is priced at Rp 1,288,888 net per couple.
