Crystal Cruises has recently announced that renowned Chef Nobu Matsuhisa will be joining Crystal Serenity’s ‘Baltic Bliss’ on June 19, sailing from Stockholm to London. Known for his fusion cuisine, Chef Nobu Matsuhisa will be hosting special dinners, curated menus, book signings and other celebrations. Restaurants such as the Silk Road and The Sushi Bar on Crystal Serenity and Umi Uma on Crystal Symphony are the only Nobu restaurants at sea. During the sailing, guests will have several opportunities to mingle with Chef Nobu, while indulging in his signature dishes.
Two Omakase, which means chef’s choice, dinners will showcase Nobu’s specialties. With one hosted in Silk Road prepared by Chef Nobu and his trained chefs, including a signed copy of his cookbook. As well as an intimate Ultimate Omakase Sushi Bar and Connoisseur’s Vintage Dinner that will feature multiple courses paired with rare sake and wines selected by Sake Master Hazu and Crystal’s own head sommelier. The special dinner can accommodate exclusively for nine guests at The Sushi Bar. Chef Nobu personally trains all of his chefs, designs all the menus, and frequently visits the ships for ongoing refinement.
In addition to these exclusive dining experiences, Chef Nobu will host cooking demos, book signing sessions as well as sake tastings with Sake Master Hazu.
