Plan your time to enjoy dim sum at the weekends at Hakkasan Jakarta—it’s a must-visit! The restaurant is inviting you to jazz up your Saturdays and Sundays with yum cha, an ancient Chinese-Cantonese culinary ritual that has developed over hundreds of years. While dim sum itself means “touching the heart” in Cantonese, the tradition provides sustenance and allows its consumers to have meaningful rest and conversation with their loved ones. The calmness, tranquility, and humility are translated into a simple, elegant, and vibrant experience that’s perfect for a beautiful weekend and taking some time away from the hustle and bustle of Jakarta’s busy life.

Guests will be offered two menus comprising various delicious and traditional Cantonese foods and cocktails that suit every palate directly from the kitchen of Hakkasan’s Chef de Cuisine Sky Wong Kum Choy and his team. The Qilin menu starts with many tempting dishes of various Dim Sum including Steamed Shanghai Xiao Long Bao with Truffle, Scallop Shui Mai, Truffle Har Gau, Char Siu Bun, Pan-Fried Carrot Cake with Hakkasan’s signature XO sauce, and many more delicious dishes. The culinary ritual continues with a choice of Stir-Fried Black Pepper Rib Eye Beef with Merlot, Spicy Prawn with Almond, or Sanpei Chicken Claypot with Sweet Thai Basil, Chili and Spring Onion.

For vegetarians, the Jasmine menu serves healthy yet luscious dishes. For starters, guests will be served with a Supreme Green Salad with Lemon Dressing. Next up is the Steamed Shanghai Xiao Long Bao with Truffle, Morel Crystal Dumpling, Sichuan Mapo Dumpling, Daikon Roll, Vegetable Shanghai Dumpling, Pan-Fried Carrot Cake, and many others. A selection of Vegetarian Mapo Tofu—or four-style vegetables in Sichuan sauce or Tofu—and other delicious vegetarian dishes will be served as mains. Both menus are paired with a choice of tea or blended soft cocktail that fit the dishes perfectly. Guests can also complete both menus with a sweet selection of Raspberry Snow Bun or Es Teler as wholesome desserts.
